New: seat reservation required for groups on the RhB

On the Swiss rail network, groups of 10 or more passengers benefit from a reduction of 30% on the standard fare. From December 15, 2024, groups will be required to make a reservation on the RhB network. Without a reservation, it will no longer be possible to issue a group ticket for RhB at any point of sale.

Groups without a confirmed seat reservation will only be transported on a space available basis. They are not entitled to travel in the same compartment or on the same train. In addition, the price difference between the group fare and the standard fare will be charged at the point of sale.

Reservations can be made at any RhB point of sale or by contacting Railservice via +41 81 288 63 26, at [email protected], or via the contact form at www.rhb.ch/en/tickets-travelcards/tickets/group-tickets.
