Seat reservation and/or supplement is required on certain trains/buses/boats such as the Glacier Express, Bernina Express, Gotthard Panorama Express, and Palm Express.
Children under 6 years of age travel free of charge.
Children aged 6 to 15 not accompanied by a parent pay half price or the minimum fare for their tickets.
The use of a Swiss Family Card requires permanent residence outside of Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The Swiss Family Card is available as an electronic ticket.
