In a nutshell: Eurail is for non-Europeans, Interrail for Europeans. Both passes offer flexible train travel across Europe.

  • Eurail: for travellers with permanent residence outside of Europe
  • Interrail: for travellers with permanent residence inside of Europe

Flexible rail access across 30+ countries – ideal for spontaneous trips and easy itinerary changes.

  • Unlimited travel on most railway lines
  • Options: Global Pass (Flexi and Continuous) and One Country Pass
  • Global Pass: Flexi Pass (up to 15 days in 2 months)
  • Global Pass: Continuous Pass (up to 3 months)
  • One Country Pass: Up to 8 flexible travel days in 1 country within 1 month

Discounts and benefits​

  • Up to 25% discount for travellers under 28
  • 10% discount for travellers aged 60 and over
  • Discounts on ferries, hotels, city cards and more

Children travel for free​

Children under 12 travel for free.

  • Free pass for children aged 4–11 with an adult carrying a pass
  • Up to 2 children travel free with one adult (18+) carrying a pass
  • For more than 2 children, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased
  • Children under 4 years of age travel free without a Eurail/Interrail Pass
