At over 3,000 metres above sea level, the new TITLIS Tower designed by Herzog & de Meuron will open at the end of May 2026. From summer 2026, the TITLIS Connect cableway will ensure uninterrupted summit access during maintenance works on the TITLIS Rotair.

A new landmark on Mount Titlis

The TITLIS Tower is already one of the most ambitious construction projects in the Alps. Designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, it forms part of a long-term strategy to modernise and enhance the Mount Titlis visitor experience. The existing steel tower from the 1980s has been transformed with the addition of two steel-and-glass structures, creating a new, cross-shaped landmark inspired by the Swiss flag. Set to be opened at the end of May 2026, the TITLIS Tower will feature a panoramic viewing platform, casual fine-dining and the world’s highest Rolex boutique.

TITLIS Connect ensures summit access

Titlis Connect was officially opened in spring 2025. In summer 2026, the cableway will transport guests while the existing mountain station is dismantled and the TITLIS Rotair is temporarily out of service. This guarantees uninterrupted access throughout the construction phase.

Year-round accessibility beyond construction

In the long term, TITLIS Connect will remain in operation and ensure year-round accessibility, particularly during annual maintenance periods of the TITLIS Rotair.
