Since 14 December: Optional seat reservation on regional trains on the Bernina Line

For travel from the timetable change on 14 December, passengers on regional trains on the Bernina Line can optionally reserve a seat. This new offer is designed to ease capacity, improve customer flow and enhance the travel experience on this highly frequented route.

Valid from the timetable change
The Bernina Line is one of Switzerland’s most popular railway routes. From 14 December, an optional seat reservation on regional trains will be introduced.

CHF 5 reservation fee

Each regional service offers 24 seats in 1st class and 74 seats in 2nd class for reservation – each at a fee of CHF 5. The fee follows the nationwide tariff and is non-refundable. Reservations for groups are excluded; misuse will be sanctioned.
