Distribution Systems
In cooperation with SBB, we handle the entire product range, including distribution via the SBB Swiss Mobility API and AgentClient systems. Swiss Travel System is also in charge of handling questions related to public transport in Switzerland, as well as cross-border connections with neighboring countries.
We offer various distribution options for the purchase of public transportation products. Our market managers will be happy to advise and assist you in selecting the distribution channel best suited to your requirements.
SBB Swiss Mobility AgentClient
The SBB Swiss Mobility AgentClient is an online-based software solution that enables distribution partners to sell e-tickets for public transport in Switzerland at served sales outlets.
The SBB Swiss Mobility AgentClient’s simple user interface makes it an ideal ticket sales support system. The system recommends timetable connections, available services and suitable opportunities to upsell. You can also view the tariff conditions for the services with just one click.
Advantages
- The SBB Swiss Mobility AgentClient has been designed in line with sales processes and supports when giving advice.
- The guided booking process is easy and user-friendly. Also, additional entry fields for customised data are available in each booking mask.
- It is not necessary to install any software as the SBB Swiss Mobility AgentClient is web-based.
- No activation fees.
- Distributions partners receive the entire national public transport range:
- E-tickets for all services
- Swiss Travel System product range
- Supersaver tickets
- Seat reservations
- Users see upselling opportunities directly in the system.
- Distributions partners can refund tickets themselves before departure.
- Extensive reports are available online at all times at no additional cost.
General terms & conditions
- Minimum turnover CHF 100’000 per year.
- Strong focus on substantial increase of turnover (no shifting of turnover from existing distribution partners).
- Partner services must include support, sale (incl. fulfillment), encashment and Service Après Vente (after sales service – SAV).
- Payment on account, no credit card.
Positive credit assessment by SBB Finances and Security Service (benchmark: at least two average monthly turnovers).

SBB Swiss Mobility API
The SBB Swiss Mobility API is a data interface that enables distribution partners to sell tickets through their own distribution applications. SBB provides the data. The distribution partners themselves develop the distribution application, or an integration into the distribution partner’s front-end application is effected.
The SBB Swiss Mobility API can be used in two forms:
- Affiliate
The distribution partner receives timetable and pricing information via the SBB Swiss Mobility API, displays the offers in their own application and links to the SBB WebShop for booking (B2C). - Booking
The distribution partner receives timetable and pricing information via the SBB Swiss Mobility API, displays offers in their own application and also executes encashment and fulfilment.
General terms & conditions
- Minimum turnover CHF 100’000 per year. There are no activation fees.

Swiss Travel System passes and cards are the key to Switzerland’s extensive public transport network.
Both e-tickets as well as paper tickets are available for booking through travel agents worldwide.

Travel agency staff, travel service providers, as well as Swiss Embassies, are entitled to tickets at a reduced fare.
