Lausanne–Marseille: Seasonal connection from spring to autumn with TGV Lyria

Between the Alpine slopes and the Mediterranean coast: from 27 June to 23 August 2026, TGV Lyria will operate a direct summer service between Lausanne and Marseille. The seasonal service is now being expanded: from 2026, additional connections will run from 16 April to 2 November, offering significantly more flexibility for travel in both directions.
From Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean
TGV Lyria will connect Lausanne and Marseille from 16 April to 2 November 2026. In April, May, June, September and October, services run from Thursday to Monday. In July and August, trains run daily, with an interruption due to engineering works from 27 July to 16 August.

One route, seven destinations
Between Lausanne and Marseille Saint-Charles, TGV Lyria stops in Geneva-Cornavin, Bellegarde, Lyon, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. Travellers enjoy a varied route: from the Swiss Pre-Alps through the Rhône Valley to the Mediterranean coast.
A direct getaway to the Alps and the Riviera
The extended season opens up new opportunities for weekend trips and longer stays between Marseille, Aix-en-Provence or Avignon and French-speaking Switzerland.
