Legends of Lake Lucerne: 2026 season incl. new evening sailings
The unique Legends of Lake Lucerne experience returns from 15 May to 15 September 2026. Guests enjoy an exclusive five-course menu, personal hosting, authentic storytelling and breathtaking Lake Lucerne panoramas aboard the historic paddle steamer Gallia. In addition to the regular morning sailings from Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday, a new Wednesday evening departure at 17:15 will be introduced.

Legends of Lake Lucerne is a premium offering aboard the historic paddle steamer Gallia. With a maximum of 65 guests, travellers enjoy an intimate, high-quality journey and a five-hour voyage into the lake’s history.
Culinary excellence at its finest
The experience features a regionally inspired, modern five-course menu accompanied by Champagne, Swiss wines, coffee, tea and soft drinks – all included. Thanks to the flying service, three of the courses can be enjoyed flexibly at preferred spots on board.

Kasimir Friedrich Knörr, a pioneer of steam navigation, guides guests through legends, historical anecdotes and cultural references. His storytelling is a key part of the overall experience.
New Wednesday evening sailings
The 2026 timetable expands the offer: in addition to morning sailings from Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday, a new Wednesday evening departure at 17:15 will allow guests to experience Lake Lucerne in a spectacular evening light.
