GoldenPass Express runs again from Montreux to Interlaken

From Sunday 11th June, the GoldenPass Express runs again once a day without interruption from Montreux to Interlaken and back. Three further direct connections will be added progressively until the end of July.

After successful testing, the technical issue between Zweisimmen and Interlaken Ost has been resolved for a first GoldenPass Express.

From 11th June, the GoldenPass Express will again run once a day from Montreux to Interlaken and back (09:35 departure from Montreux / 14:08 departure from Interlaken Ost). This means that the GoldenPass Express can once again run directly between Interlaken Ost and Montreux.

Three additional connections between Montreux and Interlaken will be introduced on 11th June. For these connections, the GoldenPass Express will initially only run between Montreux and Zweisimmen. Passengers will change trains in Zweisimmen:

  • at 7.35am, 12.35pm and 2.35pm from Montreux.
  • at 9.08am, 11.08am and 4.08pm from Interlaken Ost.

For these trains, direct connections (Montreux – Interlaken) will be added progressively during the month of July. For detailed information, we invite travellers to consult the online timetable.
