The ultimate Gornergrat experience

Gornergrat Railway tickets not only include the varied journey on a cogwheel railway to the summit, but also some free extra services.

The interactive exhibition “ZOOOM” the Matterhorn is open 365 days a year. The viewing platform at approximately 3100 metres above sea level is also accessible all year round and offers a 360° panorama with a view of 29 four-thousand-metre peaks.

The newly established Alpine Garden at 2800 metres above sea level offers interesting facts about the flora and fauna in the high alpine mountains on information boards.

Things get playful on the platform for the Steinmännchen (stone cairns): who can build the highest tower?

The popular “Meet the Sheep” experience is usually available from mid-June until early September. You can locate the sheep in the terrain via GPS and then visit them in person. 

In winter, the focus is on winter hiking and snowshoe tours. Tobogganists, skiers and winter hikers do not get in each other’s way on specially prepared paths.
